L’Arche Sudbury will be holding its annual Pasta Dinner event once again, this year on Tuesday Sept. 20 at the Caruso Club. Not only are they celebrating the community and people they love, but the 40th anniversary of the organization.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a meal and have a chance to win prizes, but also, they’ll be contributing to the community organization that supports Sudburians with intellectual disabilities.
“From what started as spaghetti and meatball suppers has become pasta dinners shared by 500 people gathered together in a hall, our L’Arche Sudbury community has grown from 1 house to 3, from 5 individuals with intellectual disabilities to over 30, and from a handful of committed donors to countless supporters and friends,” said Jennifer McCauley, executive director, in a press release.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the evening ending at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $80.59 and can be purchased on the event specific website, found here and takeout meals can be purchased for $43.45 on the website and are available for pick up from 3PM onwards.
