Earth Day is Thursday, April 22.

To celebrate, Tommy and his mommy are partnering with Science North and challenging families to show their love and appreciation for our planet through art.

Sudbury.com new media reporter Heather Green-Oliver has been working from home with her five-year-old son Tommy. Families have been following their adventures live each weekday morning at 10 a.m. on Sudbury.com's Facebook page.

Today, the duo have accepted Science North's challenge and will be showing us how to create Earth-shaped flower seed bombs that you can plant in your garden.

Join in the fun in the video below. Watch past live shows of Tommy and his mommy here.

Now it's your turn! Show us how much you love our planet by creating your own piece of art.

You can paint a picture, write a song, draw a mural with sidewalk chalk, build with LEGO - the possibilities are endless.

Once your masterpiece is complete, take a quick video or snap a photo of yourself and your piece of art and include your name and age.

Post it to your social media and tag @ScienceNorth or send them a direct message.

Then on Earth Day, Science North will spread the love and show off your artwork to the world.
