All Greater Sudbury seniors are invited when the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 (Minnow Lake) celebrates the city's senior citizens on June 16.
This event is hosted by the Greater Sudbury Seniors Community Network to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2016.
During the celebration there will be a proclamation by Mayor Brian Bigger, presentations by Ontario’s Securities Commission, Greater Sudbury Emergency Services, and Greater Sudbury Police Services.
Local seniors’ service providers will be hosting displays and there will be music, dancing, a free lunch and more.
