The WE ARE Mulligans & Mascara Ladies Golf Tournament for Easter Seals Kids will hit the links at Forest Ridge Golf Course in Chelmsford on Wednesday, June 14.

Presented by Belanger Ford Lincoln Centre, the event promises a day of fun, some great prizes, a delicious dinner — all while raising money for a good cause.

MJ Pappin, the community development officer for Easter Seals Ontario, said this year’s keynote speaker, Tessa Bonhomme, will be playing in the event as well.

“Tessa is a 2010 Olympic Gold medalist as a member of the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team and television sports analyst,” Pappin said in a news release. “Not only will Tessa take part in the fairway fun, but she will also share her personal experiences as a woman in a leadership role, where we can take away a little inspiration and show ourselves some gratitude for who we are and what we do on the daily.

Most importantly, this tournament helps us raise funds and awareness for Easter Seals kids and their families in our community.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m. on June 14 with a shotgun start at noon.
