Myths & Mirrors Community Arts' sixth annual Dance-A-Thon fundraiser takes place from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. May 26 at La Fromagerie.

Non-stop music will be curated by amazing local DJs and guests.

Myths & Mirrors invites the public to make dance teams of up to four people, getting friends, family, and co-workers together for super-fun evening.

Those who just aren’t really dancers, or who can’t make it, can still make a contribution at raiseathon.ca/mythsdance. Dancers are welcome to join at the door, as long as there’s room on the floor.

Does dancing for 12 hours sound a little daunting? No problem, just come and dance and have a good time. Stay as long as you like.

Participants register online at raiseathon.ca/mythsdance, collect pledges and proceed to dance the night away.

Dancers can register as a team of four, or strut their stuff individually. The theme for this year’s event is “the 70s,” so participants are encouraged to dress up as their favourite 70s icons.

The night will include great prizes for participants in a number of categories including top pledge earners.

Proceeds will go to outreach and youth programs at Myths & Mirrors, giving opportunities for personal and collective expression to those rarely get the chance.
