New exhibit open at Open Studio downtown

Cambrian College's Design and Visual Arts Program Faculty and Mentor Art Exhibition opened Oct. 20 at Open Studio (93 Cedar St.).

Many of the artists were in attendance and a number of works are available for sale through the artists as well as Open Studio, including books and posters.

The Faculty Mentor Exhibit is a showcase of work by faculty and mentors from Cambrian College's Design and Visual Art Program.

Artwork by faculty members Richard Neufeld (Rx Neufeld), Johanna Westby, Chantal Abdel-Nour, Tracy Baker, Leesa Bringas, Sarah King Gold, Stacey Lalande will be on display, and mentors Danielle Daniel, Wallace R. Gillard, Rosie Maddock, Rob Sacchetto, Dineen Worth will be on hand as well.

The exhibit runs Oct. 20 - Nov. 4. Public hours will be Wednesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is free but donations are always welcome.

Some works may be available for sale and all proceeds go directly to the artists.
