New Music Fest hits Bell Park this weekend

Take your pick of country or rock music as two-day festival takes over Grace Hartman Amphitheatre

The 11th annual Budweiser New Music Fest takes over Grace Hartman Amphitheatre this Friday, Sept. 14 and Saturday, Sept. 15 at Bell Park.

James Barker Band will headline this Friday's country night, fresh off winning Single of the Year (“Chills”) at the CCMA’s in Hamilton this past Sunday. James Barker Band will be joined by Juno Nominee and CMAO winners Cold Creek County with special guest performances by Kansas Stone and Matt Morson.

Saturday night co-headliners are Juno award winners The Sheepdogs and Monster Truck, with special guest performances by Goodnight Sunrise and Relic Kings. 

Gates open at 6 p.m. both Friday and Saturday evening. Limited advance tickets (one and two-day passes) are available while quantities last at www.NewMusicFest.ca or in person at Lockerby Confectionery, located at 1513 Paris St.
