In addition to various vendors, climate change solutions will
also be highlighted at the Northern Lights Festival Boreal with
GREENville. Northern Life is sponsoring the GREENville area,
the first in northeastern Ontario.
Allan Hodder of Hodder Biodiesel will demonstrate that the
generators powering the music stage in the arts area can be run
on 100 percent biodiesel, a clean renewable fuel based on
vegetable crops. Meanwhile local renewable energy retailer,
Jean Marc Pitre of Enviro Energy at 1544 Lasalle Blvd. will be
showing off solar panels at his booth. He helped to power a
music stage at another music festival in Ottawa last year. For
all the contacts in Sudbury for renewable energy and other
green activities why not pick up your free Keen to be Green
Guide at the booth of Nathalie Gara-Boivin of the Sudbury Basin
Environmental Networking Initiative.
Pay a visit to GREENville to check out these and other climate
change booths.
