The Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario (GNO) invites all artists, of all kinds and practising all styles, to show their work and put it up for sale at the 2016 Nouveau Louvre.

Whether you work with charcoal, oil paints, clay or stained glass, it doesn’t matter.

The gallery said it's very happy to accept your artwork, show it in its gallery space and make it available for purchase to the many holiday shoppers who make a point to take in this event that has become a true Sudbury holiday tradition.

The Nouveau Louvre is the GNO’s most important fundraising activity. All works of art at the Nouveau Louvre will be for sale at the single price of $200, of which $125 will be paid to the artist, and $75 to the GNO.

GNO is accepting, as of today, up to two works of art from each artist. These will be shown at the GNO from Saturday, Nov. 19 to Friday, Dec. 23.

The gallery encourages participating artists to bring in their work as soon as possible, so that GNO might document them and make them available on the Nouveau Louvre website.

Artists have until Thursday, Nov. 17 to bring their artwork to the GNO at 174 Elgin St. The GNO’s hours are from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
