Olympian Meagan Duhamel celebrates her latest, greatest accomplishment

World and Olympic champion Meagan Duhamel gave birth to a daughter this week, a little ahead of schedule.

In a tweet to her fans, Duhamel said she and her husband, Bruno Marcotte, welcomed Zoey to the world on Oct. 25. Zoey was born a bit earlier than expected, but mother and daughter are doing well, the tweet said. 

Duhamel and figure skating partner Eric Radford are two-time world champions, Olympic gold, silver and bronze medalists, and seven-time Canadian National Champions in senior pairs. 

The pair retired following their performance in 2018 Winter Olympics in Korea, allowing Duhamel to pursue a career as a full-time figure skating coach in Montreal.
