Head out to the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area Saturday, July 9 for some fun in the great outdoors with the family.
The Friends of Lake Laurentian hosts its fourth annual Friends and Family Outdoor Adventure Day that day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Laurentian Nature Chalet.
Activities include canoeing, archery, pond studies, hikes and fishing.
That week is an Ontario Family Fishing week, so no fishing licenses are required.
Fishing gear and free bait will be available courtesy of the OFAH Tackleshare program and Ramakkos. All ages are welcome.
