Sudbury Performance Group (SPG) has announced a new partnership with the Radisson Hotel Sudbury, establishing Pesto’s Restaurant as the “ultimate Wednesday night destination in the city.”

This collaboration aims to redefine midweek entertainment by combining live music, curated culinary experiences and the vibrant downtown atmosphere.

Building on the strong foundation SPG established with venues in the city such as The New Trevi Restaurant and the Hilton Garden Inn in Sudbury, the group is now focused on making Pesto’s Restaurant at the Radisson Hotel the No. 1 spot for Wednesday night entertainment. Each week, patrons can look forward to live performances from talented local musicians paired with custom meals crafted by Pesto’s acclaimed culinary team.

The menu will be tailored to complement the evening’s musical theme, offering a truly unique dining and entertainment experience.

“We are thrilled to foster another hidden gem in Sudbury,” said Mark Mannisto, president of Sudbury Performance Group, in a press release.

“The Radisson and Pesto’s know exactly what it means to marry music with food, and we can’t wait to make this a weekly go-to for Sudbury residents. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where people can enjoy incredible entertainment, delicious meals, and the best of what downtown Sudbury has to offer.”
Located in the heart of downtown Sudbury, Pesto’s Restaurant offers fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation in a casual yet upscale atmosphere. Whether you’re enjoying a multi-course meal or a drink and burger at the bar, Pesto’s provides the perfect setting for dining with friends, family, or business associates.

“Promoting the downtown core is vital to our local economy,” Mannisto said. “Coming out to Pesto’s on a Wednesday night not only supports Sudbury Performance Group—Sudbury’s premier location for music, theatre, and comedy—but also helps local musicians and downtown businesses thrive.”

The Radisson Hotel Sudbury is equally enthusiastic about the partnership.

“We are delighted to partner with Sudbury Performance Group to bring a new wave of entertainment to Pesto’s at the Radisson,” Manpreet Kaur, catering co-ordinator and sales manager at Radisson Hotel Sudbury.

“This initiative not only enhances the midweek dining experience but also reinforces our commitment to supporting local arts, culture, and the vibrant downtown Sudbury community.”

Pesto’s Restaurant at the Radisson Hotel combines convenience with excellence, offering an ideal venue for this new initiative, said a press release. The central downtown location ensures accessibility for residents across Greater Sudbury.
