Photos: Santa Claus came to town!

Hundreds of Sudburians came together to celebrate the holiday season and to get in the spirit of Christmas

More than a thousand Sudburians huddled in the snow and cold to see the big man in red, and judging by the happy faces at the first parade since 2019, the Sudbury Santa Claus Parade, Groovin’ with Santa 2022, was a big hit.

The parade was held at night in Downtown Sudbury, and the lights that flashed from the floats lit up the smiles of the families who lined every inch of the parade route, barely containing the excitement (or the cold) while waiting to see Santa Claus himself. From the cheers as soon as his Ho Ho Ho was heard, it was well worth the frozen fingers and toes.

Merry Christmas!
