Photos: Science North joins the globe in celebrating science centres, museums

Members of the community invited to access the science centre, IMAX, and planetarium free of charge

Crowds of families, friends and science-loving companions filled the action-packed hallways of Science North Saturday - free of charge, as part of International Science Centre and Science Museum Day (ISCSMD).

ISCSMD is an annual event hosted by science centres and science museums across the world to celebrate and promote their role in raising awareness and encouraging engagement in sustainable development and solutions to worldwide challenges.

In addition to offering free admission to their science exhibits, planetarium and IMAX theatre, Science North along with many participating institutions, hosted workshops and exhibits surrounding the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
