After visiting Little Current for the past two years, the Recreation Committee of Villa St. Gabriel Villa came to the table with high hopes and big dreams of Killarney fish and chips for their 2017 summer excursion.
Months of contemplation and preparation paid off as it was announced in April that Killarney would, in fact, be the next summer excursion destination for the residents of Villa St. Gabriel Villa.
An invitation was extended to the residents of St. Joseph’s Villa to join in on the fun and even Mother Nature came on board for this special event.
Five residents from SJV and six residents from VSGV awoke to a warm sunny morning July 6 and boarded one of two chartered buses to Killarney for fish and chips.
Residents and staff had the opportunity to mix and mingle all while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and food of Killarney.
