“Folks can expect a high-energy, family-oriented show with lots of hard-driving music focusing on the brother duet harmony,” he said.

“Outside venues are the preferred performances (providing the weather is decent). It really gives a live and energetic feel.”

Rick Spinney said he enjoys performing with his brother.

“I have worked nearly my entire adult life with my brother Allan, from logging in British Columbia to farming in Nova Scotia,” he said.

“It is a blessing to now spend nearly every day with my brother, performing music and doing what we love to do. We are very close and actually share the same birthday, exactly one year apart.”

Admission to all concerts in the Vale Summer Concert Series is free, but monetary donations to the Sudbury Food Bank are welcomed. All concerts start at 7 p.m. at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre.

The concert series concludes Sept. 17 with a performance by Barney Bentail.
