Treehouse's Splash'N Boots are going to paint Greater Sudbury yellow on Sept. 23.

The four-time Juno nominees – whose venture into music began as a class project at Queen's University and a dream of creating authentic entertainment for families – will be hitting the road with the Big Yellow Tunes Tour this fall.

Kicking off on Friday, Sept. 22 in Sault Ste. Marie and ending on Sunday, Oct. 15 in Halifax, Splash'N Boots will bring their live show – a high-energy yet intimate and interactive musical experience (with just the right amount of ridiculous) for kids and parents alike – to stages in Ontario, New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia.

In addition to brand new songs from their latest Juno nominated album, “Big Yellow Tunes,” fans of all ages can expect appearances from Big Yellow Boot friends Charlie, Keys, Jumping Jack Granny, and for the first time ever on stage, Chef Brock Lee.

“We're so excited to go on tour this fall and see so many amazing families across Canada — ones we've met over the years, and some new ones. too,” said Taes Leavitt (otherwise known as Boots in the Big Yellow Boot). “Connecting with our fans through music is one of the most rewarding parts about Splash'N Boots, so we can't wait to get the Big Yellow Tunes Tour started.”

Splash’N Boots have performed more than 3,000 shows across North America in major venues such as the Molson Amphitheatre and The Burton Cummings Theatre, as well as international tours in Dubai, Italy, Bermuda and Australia. They have shared both the stage and screen with Canadian icon, Fred Penner, as well as world renowned children's entertainers, The Wiggles.

In the fall of 2016, Splash, Boots, and their Big Yellow Boot friends travelled across Canada, performing 48 shows in venues coast to coast in their “Big Yellow Boot Tour.” Click here for Sudbury.com's 2016 interview with Leavitt.

The Sudbury concert takes place starting at 4 p.m. at Laurentian University's Fraser Auditorium. Tickets cost just over $25 for regular tickets and just over $40 for VIP tickets.
