The 35th annual Sudbury Gem and Mineral Show is coming up July 21 to 23 at the Carmichael Arena.

Check out dealers, displays, demonstrations, door prizes (including amethyst geode grand door prize), silent auctions, kids activities, mineral and gemstone identification, video theatre, a field trip and more.

The event, put on by the Sudbury Rock & Lapidary Society, runs 5-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, $1 for children aged six to 12 and free for children five and under.
