Two of “Canada's hottest comics” have been booked to perform at Trevi Bar & Grill Saturday, April 14 as part of the Sudbury Performance Group “The Jokestack” stand-up comedy series.
Ryan Maglunob’s jokes hit like grenades, said a press release. They may take a second to hit, but when they do, audiences explode with laughter. Maglunob’s has hilarious nerdy views and embraces his inner awkwardness.
Maglunob has performed at the North by North East (NxNE) and JFL42 festivals.
In April 2015, he released his debut album “Oh... and You Were Good Too”, which debuted in the Top 40 on iTunes and can be regularly heard on SiriusXM satellite radio.
David Andrew Brent is best described as genuine, oddball, silly (but smart), comforting, absurd, but perfect for any situation.
He has appeared at the Brantford Comedy Festival (rising star champion), MTV Canada, Much Music, Sirius XM, JFL42, Thunder Bay Comedy Fest Finalist, Youtube Viral! (one million views in 24 hrs).
“We are pleased to be hosting two of Canada’s hottest comics, Ryan Maglunob and David Andrew Brent,” said Sudbury Performance Group president Shawn Bailey.
“They are both veterans of Just for Laughs and have honed their craft to high hilarity.”
