Theatre Cambrian releases holiday album

Theatre Cambrian is launching its first-ever soundtrack for the holiday season: The Best of Christmas.

“I am very excited to be able to offer Northerners a chance to merge the theatrical lifestyle with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season,” said Mark Mannisto, executive director of Theatre Cambrian.

“We have brought together performers from our two Best of Broadway concerts and our two Best of Billboard concerts and released an album that features 15 holiday classics.”

Local artists like Shawn Oakes, Tafari Anthony, Jeff Burton, Sue Gates, Rod Bazinet, Dale Pepin, Scott Infanti, Angel Mannisto, Racehlle St-Denis, Irmgard Hechler, Kirsten Zinkie and Angel Boyle perform on it.

Some of the holiday classics listeners can expect include It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Baby It's Cold Outside, Mary Did You Know and Where Are You Christmas?, along with many others.

The Best of Christmas can be purchased at Theatre Cambrian, located at 40 Eyre Street, for $20 or by phoning 705-524-7317 ext. 0. All funds raised from the purchase of the album will go towards Theatre Cambrian’s capital fund.
