The Peter Schneider Concert Series kicks off this Sunday, June 2, at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre in Bell Park with the music of Northern Memphis Revival.
With about a dozen members, all of whom are well-known in the Sudbury music scene, Northern Memphis Revival brings the sweet sounds of southern soul music to Northern Ontario. Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Isaac Hayes, Wilson Picket, the Staple Singers — you can't listen to the Revival without moving your body.
