Students at École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur got a treat March 24 when young Timmins musician Céleste Lévis performed at their school.
She was in the city for La Nuit sur l'Etang, which took place in Greater Sudbury a few weeks ago.
In 2013, the singer-songwriter participated in Ontario Pop (now called Rond Point) and won first place, which allowed her to enter the Ma Première Place des Arts competition and go straight to the semi-finals of the Festival International de la chanson de Granby.
In 2015, Lévis participated in La Voix (French equivalent to The Voice). Thanks to her unique talent, she earned a place in Éric Lapointe’s team and made it to the semi-finals.
