Sudbury Performance Group is excited to bring audiences an evening of laughter, drama, and delicious dining with the upcoming dinner theatre production of Till Beth Do Us Part, a comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.

The show runs from Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Nov. 23, with a special matinee on Saturday, all held at Thorneloe University on the Laurentian campus.

Tickets are $70, which includes a catered buffet by Helvi’s Catering, making it a perfect night out for theatre lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

Till Beth Do Us Part is a laugh-out-loud tale of relationships, ambition, and the unexpected impact of a well-meaning but overzealous assistant.

Suzannah Hayden, a career-focused woman struggling to balance her work and home life, hires Beth Bailey, a charmingly efficient Southern woman who quickly takes control of Suzannah's life—and her household.

As Beth grows more involved, Suzanna's husband, Gibby, becomes increasingly suspicious of Beth's intentions, sparking a humorous showdown to reclaim his marriage. The comedic tension escalates as Suzanna’s career hangs in the balance, culminating in a chaotic and sidesplitting climax just as Suzannah's high-stakes business dinner approaches.

SPG’s production of Till Beth Do Us Part features a talented cast, each bringing their own unique flair to these unforgettable characters:

  • Angel Mannisto as Suzannah Hayden: With her nuanced portrayal of Suzannah, Angel captures the ambitious, sometimes overwhelmed wife who’s caught between her career and personal life. Her dedication brings depth to Suzannah's journey from control to chaos and back again.
  • Steve Maguire as Gibby Hayden: As Suzannah’s often exasperated husband, Gibby, Steve adds warmth and humor to a man struggling to navigate his wife’s new assistant. His comedic timing and natural charm make Gibby both relatable and endearing.
  • Rachelle St-Denis as Margo James: Playing the role of Suzannah’s wisecracking, divorced best friend, Rachelle brings humor and sarcasm to Margo, infusing the character with just the right blend of wit and wisdom as she supports Suzanna and schemes to outwit Beth.
  • Melanie Rainville as Beth Bailey: In the role of Beth, Melanie perfectly captures the character’s friendly yet subtly conniving nature. With her Southern charm and high energy, Melanie creates an unforgettable Beth who effortlessly and hilariously disrupts the Haydens' lives.
  • Chad Racette as Hank Russell: Chad brings depth and humor to Hank, Margo’s ex-husband and Gibby’s unexpected ally. As a man in the throes of his own midlife crisis, Chad’s portrayal is filled with both comedy and a touch of self-reflection.
  • Emma Wedlock as Celia Carmichael: Portraying the formidable Celia Carmichael, Suzannah’s high-powered boss, Emma Wedlock adds an element of suspense and authority to the production. Her presence elevates the tension as the stakes rise for Suzanna.
