Video: Manitoba singer's parody of Toto's 'Africa' is a tribute to Canadian winter

Have a laugh at 'Froze my brain up in Canada'

It was a mere -32 degrees Celsius (-44 with the windchill) in Manitoba when Rob Thiessen and his brother-in-law Joe Kaonga decided to sing in front of an outdoor fire.

But their song of choice was no ordinary campfire melody.

Watch as Thiessen, on the acoustic guitar and Kaonga (who is originally from Zambia) drumming on an empty Tim Hortons cup, perform 'Froze my brain up in Canada' a parody of the 80's hit 'Africa' by Toto.

Enjoy!
