Join new media reporter Heather Green-Oliver as she tries to keep her five-year-old son Thomas busy during the extended March Break. Sudbury.com will livestream their adventures on Facebook at 10 a.m. each weekday morning.

Parents are encouraged to take part in the discussion, share their tips and have a little fun.

In an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19, Public Health officials has advised residents to exercise social distancing and practice healthy hygiene.

But that doesn't mean you have to barricade the kids inside the house.

This morning, Tommy and his mommy showed us that we can still enjoy nature - all the while respecting each other's personal space.

Rainbow Routes offers more than 100 kilometres of trails which connect different parts of Greater Sudbury. Click here to view maps.

Can you guess which trail Tommy and his mommy visited today? Rewatch the livestream in the video below.
