Villa to honour Brian McKee

The St. Joseph's Foundation of Sudbury will honour the late Father Brian McKee this Saturday by naming the "town square" at St. Joseph's Villa after him.

The St. Joseph's Foundation of Sudbury will honour the late Father Brian McKee this Saturday by naming the "town square" at St. Joseph's Villa after him.

McKee, a Roman Catholic priest, was a dedicated community volunteer whose leadership and support made a difference in the lives of many people. He died in 2000.

McKee was founder of the Knights of Columbus Youth Camp, diocesan director of Catholic Charities, founder of the Sudbury and District Boys Home, founder of the Flying Fathers hockey team, and founder and director of the Sudbury Food.

The dedication ceremony will take place at 2 pm sat St. Joseph's Villa, the longterm care nursing home at 1250 South Bay Rd.
