The Greater Sudbury Police Service has teamed up with the Sudbury Amateur Radio Club for an eighth consecutive year to provide children with a safe Halloween.

Members of the radio club will be patrolling the streets of Sudbury Oct. 31 and will call in any incidents to the police.

Criminal Justice students from Cambrian College have also taken part in this event for a number of years and will be out in full force in 2006. The students will patrol specific areas on Devil's Night (Oct. 30)  and Halloween and will also report any suspicious activity.
