What better way to ring in the New Year than with your favourite furry friend?
On New Year's Eve, James Silas spotted a man carrying a raccoon (presumably his pet) on his back near Kathleen Street in Sudbury.
It's not the first time the pet 'trash panda' has been spotted.
"I've seen him in the summer," Silas told Sudbury.com. "The raccoon follows his directions. Stops at stop signs with him. Pretty cool."
