Rolling Stones announce stadium tour of Latin America kicking off Feb. 3 in Santiago, Chile
The Rolling Stones will be heading to our area this summer!

The Rolling Stones will perform June 29 at the 600-acre Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, located in Oro-Medonte Township, in between Barrie and Orillia.

The concert is being put on by Republic Live, producers of Boots and Hearts Music Festival and Big Sky Music Festival.

Close to 70,000 fans of the legendary band are expected to attend the spectacular show at Canada’s largest outdoor venue.

"Having The Rolling Stones choose Burl’s Creek on the Canada Day weekend as the only Canadian stop on their tour is a truly humbling experience for us,” said Eva Dunford, co-founder, Republic Live.

“The Stones are the greatest rock and roll band in the world and this show will, without a doubt, put Burl’s Creek on the map as a world-class destination. ‘It’s Only Rock and Roll’ but, for us it’s history in the making at Burl’s Creek.”

The ‘No Filter’ tour has amassed rave reviews for Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood as they played to sold out stadiums throughout the UK and Europe last year and Republic Live is expecting no less for ‘Canada Rocks with the Rolling Stones’ at Burl’s Creek.

The set list has the iconic group treating generations of fans to classic Stones hits including Sympathy For The Devil, Paint It Black, Brown Sugar, Miss You, in addition to special gems from their celebrated catalog.

“Canada Rocks with The Rolling Stones is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the world’s greatest rock and roll band,” said Lisa Zechmeister, director of booking and development, Republic Live.

“Through the continued support of the Simcoe and Oro-Medonte community, we have been able to develop Burl’s Creek into a world-class property capable of hosting rock and roll’s most prolific act.

"This show on the Canada Day weekend will no doubt be the hottest ticket in the country and we expect fans to travel from all over the world, as well as every province and territory to see the only Canadian show
on this tour.”

Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
