YES Theatre has announced it's extending the run of its summer repertory theatre festival an extra week to Aug. 26.

“Merrily We Roll Along” and “Violet” were originally only supposed to run at the Ernie Checkeris Theatre at Thorneloe University until Aug. 19. Read more about these plays in this Sudbury.com article from last month.

“We have been having such an incredible time bringing these two pieces to Sudbury!” said YES Theatre founder Alessandro Costantini.

“Our audiences have been leaving the theatre having experienced something so unique and special.

“We want to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to take in these intimate and invigorating theatrical journeys. We feel like we have really pushed ourselves and are so proud of the work happening!”

Tickets are available in person at One Sky (125 Durham St.) on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12-5 p.m. They can also be purchased online at www.yestheatre.com or by phone at 1-844-307-7469.
