YES Theatre is hosting submissions for all of their future programming and they are looking for people who love, work and play in the Northern Ontario community.
“YES Theatre fosters a theatre culture made of diverse but kindred narratives and Identities,” said Alessandro Costantini, artistic and managing director with the theatre company.
“We believe that the more varied perspectives exist in a room the more rich and complex the work can become! These submissions are an opportunity for us to be introduced to new or established artists and hopefully ignite a passion for the theatre in someone who may not yet know they love it!”
They are looking for set designers, lighting designers, actors, carpenters, painters, seamstresses, composers, costume designers, musicians, stage managers. Sound like you?
Send YES Theatre a creative video (four minutes max) showcasing you. Introduce yourself. Tell the company why you love the arts and where or how you want to be involved. Sing a song or perform a dance, paint a picture or just talk. Anything goes.
Upload your creative video to YouTube and send the link to your video, along with a headshot, resume or short bio, over to [email protected]. All submissions need to be sent in by March 15, to be eligible for consideration.
