Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang are dropping by Theatre Cambrian from Feb. 28 to March 9.

“You're a Good Man Charlie Brown” comes to life in a very beautiful, bright and colourful way with a cheerful and multi-talented cast directed by Kirsten Zinkie, said a press release.

With charm, wit … and a little anxiety, “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown” takes us through a day in the life of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang.

This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, is guaranteed to please audiences of all ages with musical numbers from the original cartoon classic.

Come cheer on the gang in “The Baseball Game,” watch Snoopy go nuts for “Suppertime" and reminisce as the gang sings about “Happiness" and what it means to them.

“Charlie Brown has such a special place in my heart,” said Zinkie.

“Working with such a talented cast to recreate this timeless classic has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. All of us involved have had so much fun rediscovering our inner children.

“This cast has done such a beautiful job stepping into and creating such iconic roles … each and every one of them will make you laugh and cry … remember what it was like to be a kid. Things were a bit simpler then, weren’t they?”

You're a Good Man Charlie Brown features Kalvin Blanchard as Charlie Brown, Hannah Waterson as Sally, Lindsay Dainton as Woodstock, Jeff Burton as Snoopy, Daniel Reynolds as Schroder, Jimmy Parsons as Linus and Katrina Makitalo-Bailey as Lucy.

"With spring soon upon us, the bright colours in the set and an amazing cast, it's been an awesome experience watching Kirsten's vision coming to life," said Theatre Cambrian president Derek Young.

"We are so happy to bring this larger than life production to our patrons and to share her artistic vision with you.”
