Afro Women and Youth Foundation is presenting a series of youth workshops called Craft for Mental Health this summer.
Learn and practice different artistic skills — African beadwork, poetry crafting, basic sewing, painting, tye-dye and makeup.
These workshops are aimed at kids and teens aged nine to 16 years old. Sessions take place July 30 and Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27.
During the final session, on Aug. 27, there will be a Youth Art Show, where young artists from the program can display their work to the public.
