Greater Sudbury students in Grades 5-8 were invited to create posters for the Path of Discovery Tour at Dynamic Earth. Each class submitted one poster based on this year’s mining theme: Refining Young Minds.

BY GIANNI UBRIACO The founding member of British blues/rock band Savoy Brown, Kim Simmonds, was recently inducted into the Canadian Blues Hall of Fame. Now, Simmonds is headed to Canada and will hit the stage in Sudbury at Shaughnessy’s on May 8.

St. Charles College students Ashlee Reasbeck and and Kurtis Charles star in the high school's production of The Wedding Singer. This musical headed by the school's drama department tells the story of Robbie Hart.

Cambrian College alumnus Sergio Shidomi recently earned a first place win for Best Cake and a third place win overall in a national World Chocolate Masters qualifying competition held at Humber College April 24-25.
