12 Days of Kindness: This school bus driver had a tough year, watch us put a smile on her face

Watch as we surprise Susan Francoeur, aka Mama Sue, as she picks up students at Lasalle Secondary

Welcome to day eight of Sudbury.com's 12 Days of Kindness supported by @homeEnergy

Susan Francoeur, or Mama Sue as everyone calls her, has been a school bus driver for more than 15 years and has received the best bus driver award more than once.

Aside from ensuring students get to and from school safely, Mama Sue also volunteers her time to helping families through the Garson Food Bank, which was started by her father.

Sadly, her husband Dave was recently diagnosed with cancer and this has put a huge weight on her shoulders.

Her son, Danny, and daughter-in-law, Katreena, would love to see the two of them enjoy a date night.

Watch as we met up with Mama Sue at Lasalle Secondary School to recognize her for everything she does for her family and for everything she does in the community of Garson.
