8 displaced after house fire in Capreol

A house fire on Oakwood Avenue in Capreol has left eight people displaced after the flames caused an estimated $200,000 in damage, said Greater Sudbury Fire Services. Four people had to be evacuated, but no one was injured.

A house fire on Oakwood Avenue in Capreol has left eight people displaced after the flames caused an estimated $200,000 in damage, said Greater Sudbury Fire Services.

Four people had to be evacuated, but no one was injured. The fire damage was limited to one room, but smoke damage is listed as severe.

Firefighters responded to the call at 8:30 p.m.
