St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre (SJCCC) of Sudbury has said congratulations to Joy-Ann Beausoleil, who is the newest winner of the popular 50/50 draw for the month of October 2022.

SJCCC reported that Beausoleil will be taking home $2,230 for purchasing draw tickets in support of the new 36-bed rehabilitation centre that is to be constructed in New Sudbury.

St. Joseph's is reminding Sudbury area residents that tickets for the November draw are now available online, at www.stjoessudbury5050.ca and this includes tickets that are available for the early bird draw which takes place on November 15th.

SJCCC said buying tickets to support the new rehab centre will provide much needed relief to the demand for acute care hospital beds at Health Sciences North.

The new $20 million building will be located at 319 Lasalle Boulevard in Sudbury. In the coming months, SJCCC will be announcing a formal capital campaign to help raise the local cost share in the amount of $2.7 million.

Supporting St Joseph’s Foundation 50/50 draw gives you both a chance to win cash and to invest in your local health system. Every dollar raised will go towards building a new 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility to provide much-needed relief to our community’s acute care hospital, said a news release from SJCCC.
