All this week until June 11, local businesses are pitching in to raise funds for Maison McCulloch Hospice.
The first such event last year raised some $3,000 to support palliative care services in Greater Sudbury. Kim Davis, who conceived of the Big Hearts Helping the Hospice Campaign, said she is excited to do it all again this year.

Last year Kim Davis was so moved by the work of the Maison McCulloch Hospice, she decided “We have over 16 local businesses involved,” she told Sudbury.com. “During that week, you will be able to take advantage of specials on products and services, attend yoga and fitness classes, and participate in the live online auction with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the hospice.”
The live online auction features donated items from local businesses, again with 100 per cent of the proceeds donated to Maison McCulloch.
On June 7, the Northern Water Sports Centre will be hosting an evening of yoga classes on the dock and the paddle board, live music, and a small vendors market. Learn more here. All of this will be livestreamed on several social platforms, including Youtube.
The goal this year is to double last year’s $6,000 total.

Pattison Signs donated space on their digital signs to promote the event, while Duplicators Inc. has donated banners and printing. Ferland Creatives is donating livestreaming services and photography services. Keegtunes Sound and Lighting is providing services Wednesday's event at the Water Sports Centre.
