Action Sudbury poster contest: Artwork by these Sudbury students going up around town

Local group that campaigns against impaired driving runs yearly poster contest for students

Action Sudbury, a local group that campaigns against impaired driving, recently named the three winners of its poster contest.

The winning posters were chosen by those who attended Action Sudbury's annual Red Ribbon Campaign launch Nov. 29.

The winners are Benjamin Bisaillon, who attends École Secondaire Hanmer, as well as Catherine St. Jean and Sarah Lachance, who are both Marymount Academy students.

The posters will be used for upcoming ads for the organization, which will include a bus back during prom time, electronic billboards throughout the year and newspaper ads.

Each winner also received a $300 gift card from a store of their choice and a certificate of appreciation.
