Another case of COVID-19 was reported in a Sudbury school Sunday, this time at Pius XII Catholic Elementary School.
A letter dated March 7 posted on the Sudbury Catholic District School Board’s website said the individual in question is currently self-isolating and being monitored by Public Health Sudbury & Districts while the investigation continues.
The Grade 2-3 class at Pius XII has been dismissed until March 17 due to the COVID case.
“Public Health Sudbury & Districts is working closely with our school to manage the confirmed case,” said the school board. “They will notify all parents of children and all school personnel who have been identified as close contacts.”
