Apparently, things are looking 'blooming' wonderful in Capreol

Community receives four 'blooms' in Communities in Bloom competition

Capreol received a rating of four "blooms" and a special mention for Capreol Centennial Riverfront Project for 2018 during the 2016 Communities in Bloom Ontario Provincial Awards on Sept. 17.

Capreol also received a Criteria Award for youth involvement.

In July and August, trained volunteer judges travelled to participating communities to evaluate the overall contributions of municipal council and departments, industry, businesses, the private sector and volunteers. Criteria included tidiness, environmental action, heritage conservation, urban forestry, landscape and floral displays.

A complete list of the provincial and national results along with an online copy of the latest Communities in Bloom magazine will be available at CommunitiesInBloom.ca following the National Symposium & Awards Ceremony, Oct. 27-29 in Regina.
