You're invited to audition during July for Sudbury Performance Group's production of the musical “Godspell.”
“It's our goal to make 'Godspell' be one of the most beautiful shows Sudbury has seen. If you don't know the music, its from the creators of 'Wicked,” said a press release.
“A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing.
“An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from rock to pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
“The script is written in such a way that it gives almost everyone involved a chance to shine. With K.C. Rautiainen's vocal direction and Angel Mannisto's choreography this will be a production that you won't forget!”
