M&M Meat Shops raised more than $1 million in support the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) last weekend at store barbecues throughout the province.

This year's goal was $900,000, and the total raised represents the largest single gift ever donated to CCFC.

Folks at more than 333 M&M Meat Shops locations fired up their grills to support the 14th annual Charity Barbecue Day. About $7 million for CCFC has been raised since the first Charity BBQ Day in 1989.
