If you have come across reports of a missing girl from Sudbury on social media don’t be fooled.
A website called “Chair News” has a number of bogus stories about missing persons, including one related to Sudbury.
Greater Sudbury Police confirmed with Sudbury.com Saturday there are currently no missing children in Greater Sudbury.
Police said they could not access the website in question because their office Internet filters had blocked it.
The website uses the same stock image of a girl, and has a number of bogus stories for several of Canadian cities, about a missing girl named “Kitty Collins”.
