Maley Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction, approximately one kilometre west of the Barrydowne Road roundabout, for construction and blasting operations.
The lane reduction will be in place until April 4, 2020. Work in the westbound lanes has been extended until April 10.
This work is related to the cleanup and safety inspections resulting from fallen rock on Feb. 26.
Occasional blasting will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. A siren will be sounded before blasting begins. When blasting is underway, flagpersons will stop traffic for five to 15 minutes.
Flagpersons will also maintain access for emergency vehicles.
