Collège Boréal celebrated its 27th convocation this month with three ceremonies that saw 339 people cross the stage.

Collège Boréal is pleased to be able to celebrate its first in-person convocation ceremonies in two years.

The college celebrated its 27th annual graduation ceremonies this month, with 339 people receiving a diploma or a certificate from Collège Boréal during one of three ceremonies “to celebrate the event in style,” the college said in a news release.

Collège Boréal’s Foundation awarded more than 1,500 scholarships to students during the 2021-2022 academic year, for a total of $1.3 million. A number of scholarships and awards were distributed during  the ceremonies, but most were given during the school year to help students finish their program.

"I am especially proud and moved to present degrees today to a cohort that has overcome the tremendous challenges caused by the pandemic in the past two years,” Daniel Giroux, president of Collège Boréal. “The graduates of 2022 are, without question, the perseverance and talent of an entire generation. Their courage and ability to adapt to change will undoubtedly serve them well on the job market and in whatever path they choose to take."
