The Business and Professional Women's Club of Sudbury honoured outstanding women in the community Tuesday evening (March 19).
Kathryn A. Volf was presented with the Outstanding BPW Woman of the Year Award for her work with the club.
Jeanine Larcher-Lalonde was awarded the Bernardine Yackman Award for her community work. Larcher-Lalonde was one of the driving forces being the early success of the Blueberry Festival.
Seven Women of Distinction were honoured. They included Cecile Saari, Janet Gaspirini, Kim Scott, Toula Sakellaris, Renee Bielinski, Shirley Makela amd Leslie Green.
