The city will be conducting repairs to a broken watermain at 3150 Highway 144 in Chelmsford on Friday, July 29 beginning at 2:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Two eastbound lanes will be closed at Errington Avenue. One lane of traffic will be maintained during repairs.
Residents in the area may notice some possible water discolouration and lower than normal water pressures.
To clear discoloured water, residents are asked to run the cold water tap that is closest to their water meter for several minutes to clear sediments from house hold plumbing.
Prolonged periods of low water pressure and discoloured water should be reported to 3-1-1.
