Well, if heavy snowfall isn’t enough, how about some frigid temperatures? Expect snow today, heavy at times, and local blowing snow. There is a risk of freezing drizzle this morning, too.

Up to four centimetres of snow is expected today on top of the overnight snow, which could measure as deep as 15 cm. Wind will be out of the southeast at 30 km/h, gusting to 50. Expect a wind chill of -7 this morning and -30 in the afternoon. There is a risk of frostbite as well.

But hey, today’s high is -3 so it’s not all bad. Of course, that temperature is temporary as the mercury is expected to dip to -20 in the afternoon. Tonight, the skies will clear and the temperature will drop to -28.
