Bungalow fire in Whitefish causes $250K in damage

A fire at a bungalow in Whitefish Thursday afternoon caused severe smoke and fire damage, according to a press release from Greater Sudbury Fire Services.

Police were called to the fire on Henry Street in the community at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 28.

The estimated dollar loss is $250,000.

Nobody was hurt in the blaze, although one person was displaced.
